Does a bodyguard need a licence in Geneva?
As a rule, yes. In Geneva the security company must hold a licence and its agents must be licensed too, under the intercantonal agreement that Geneva shares with Fribourg, Vaud, Valais, Neuchâtel and Jura. Carrying a weapon requires a separate permit. ShieldOne records the company's licence; the situation of its agents remains the company's responsibility.
Can I ask for English-speaking agents?
Yes. The form lets you choose the languages the agents should speak, English included. The form itself is in French for now; you can write your description in English.
What happens after I send the form?
ShieldOne reviews it first. The approved companies then see the assignment without your name or contact details, and you receive an e-mail when offers are waiting for you.
Is ShieldOne a security company?
